New Lincolnshire Service Station

A new Lincolnshire service station is now open at Market Deeping.

BSP Consulting undertook the flood risk assessment (FRA) for the planning process and then was appointed civil and structural engineer for the development phase of the scheme.

This included the Section 278 works to create the new access off the A15, the civil and structural design for the building and bases for the fuel tanks and canopy. BSP engineers also designed the drainage for the project which included a foul water treatment plant.

The scheme includes a BP filling station with EV power charge points, a Budgens, which features a Greggs and a Costa Express offering inside, and a car wash.

Lindum built the service station for Motor Fuel Group (MFG). Jennings Design Limited was also part of the development team.

Services

BSP principal civil engineer Tim Wilson said: “This new Lincolnshire service station scheme has brought additional services to the area and created new jobs in the local economy.

“BSP Consulting was very pleased to be appointed to work with Lindum throughout the planning and development phases of this project. It is good to see the filling station and convenience store are now open and being well used.”

The 24-hour filling station is located off the A15/A1175 roundabout.

For more details on how the filling station was approved on appeal, after initially being refused by South Kesteven District Council, visit https://lindumgroup.com/news/plans-for-new-petrol-station-approved-at-appeal/
