Originally founded in Nottingham in 1999 as The Breakwell Sumner Partnership Limited, the business became BSP Consulting in 2002 and has continued to evolve while retaining the practical, collaborative and hands-on approach on which it was built.
Today, BSP is led by an experienced team of directors, senior consultants and technical specialists, each bringing expertise across civil, structural, transportation, geotechnical and environmental engineering. This breadth of knowledge enables us to support clients from the earliest planning stages through to detailed design and project delivery.
We work with architects, project managers, contractors, developers, estate agents, public sector organisations and wider construction professionals, providing clear advice and practical engineering solutions across a broad range of sectors.

In 2009, BSP Consulting was delighted and proud to be awarded the prestigious title of “Consultant of the Year” at the East Midlands Property Dinner. BSP Consulting has been awarded a prestigious Green Apple Award for an innovative sustainable drainage system created at a Leicester school In August 2019.
