BSP Consulting carried out civil and structural engineering consultancy services.

Key challenges and engineering solutions

Working in a live University campus and ensuring that a suitable structural solution was selected to reduce the impact of delivery during the construction phase of works.

We designed a braced bay steel frame construction, to avoid deep stanchions projecting into the sports hall.

A composite steel beam design reduces the overall mezzanine depth.
