The design and construction of a new 52,500sq ft high quality industrial unit for end user DFS to extend Centurion Park in Tamworth, a popular industrial and distribution site. In a superb location, adjacent to J10 of the M42. The 20 acre development will deliver more employment opportunities for the region with an anticipation that up to 260 people could be employed in the new sheds.
The construction of the new unit will come with associated services, parking and offices and will extend one of the regions’ most popular industrial parks which has, until now, been fully let due to its superb location adjacent to junction ten of the M42.
The finished build of this scheme is the first of two units planned for the site with another 157,000 sq ft shed planned to follow.
National furniture brand, DFS, has signed up to 53,000 sq ft of space at St. Modwen’s landmark warehouse scheme at Centurion Park in Tamworth, bringing up to 40 additional jobs to the area.
The site is in a prime location adjacent to junction 10 of the M42. Other occupiers at Centurion Park include AAH Pharmaceuticals, Aldi, Speedy Hire and Norbert Dentressangle. Doncaster-based DFS has taken the 53,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution unit at Centurion Park to facilitate the delivery of orders to its Midlands’ customer base.
The unit offers 49,959 sq ft of warehouse space and 2,861 sq ft of offices and provides a substantial yard and multiple loading doors, including seven dock level loading doors.
To allow access to the extension site, BSP designed a bridge over a watercourse as well as SUDS drainage solutions.
