An historic mill conversion scheme in Wiltshire has now been completed, with more than half of apartments sold or under offer.
BSP Consulting was the structural and civil engineer on the project at Clarks Mill and Mill House in Trowbridge.
It involved conversion of the existing four-storey structure and the addition of an additional storey at the grade ll listed former mill. Design works involved detailed assessment of the existing structural elements including floor beams and cast iron columns. Following the assessment the developer was able to retain significant amounts of the structure.
The conversion has created 16 striking apartments in the heart of Trowbridge – six of which are already sold with a further three under offer.

Clarks Mill is a collection of 16 luxurious two and three-bedroom apartments on Stallard Street, ranging in price from £299,000 to £449,000. The development features an impressive entrance lobby with a lift servicing the upper floors.
