Appointed by Coventry City Council and working with Pulse Associates, BSP Consulting provided structural engineering advice relating to two 12-storey towers earmarked for demolition.
BSP supplied detailed reports on the structure, which were aided by a rigorous review of existing drawings held in archive.
The work also involved specifying and overseeing intrusive investigations to confirm the structural form.
Demolition contractors have now been appointed and works are underway at Coventry Point in the city centre.
Completed in 1974, the tower blocks – joined by glass walkways – will be taken down floor by floor.
