Work is due to start in the spring on a £10m housing development in Leicester which will provide 82 new homes.
BSP Consulting is undertaking the design work for the post planning to construction phase of the scheme, which will be built on a 4.8-acre site at Abbey Meadows.
Leicester-based developer GS Developments has partnered with Lovell Partnerships and Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) in a joint venture.
Partnership housing specialist Lovell Partnerships will build 47 affordable homes to be managed by NCHA. A further 35 build-to-rent properties will be constructed by Lovell, which will be retained and managed by GS Residential.
The development will include two, three and four-bedroom homes, the first of which are expected to be completed in winter 2021.
