BSP Consulting wins place on EN:Procure Framework.

The company has been selected on the new £10.4m EN:Procure Ltd Consultancy Framework, the specialist procurement arm of social housing consortium Efficiency North Holdings Limited, to cover civil and structural engineering contracts in both Yorkshire and Humber and the East Midlands.

It brings to 15 the number of framework positions that BSP Consulting is currently appointed to.

Business development director at BSP Consulting Jef Todd said: “BSP’s appointment to this framework is great news for the business. We have wide experience in the social housing sector and of working with many public sector organisations, so this framework is a perfect fit for our team.

“We are looking forward to providing civil, structural and highways engineering support to a range of projects in the East Midlands and Yorkshire and Humber.”

The EN:Procure Ltd Consultancy Framework has an estimated demand pipeline of £10.4m over its four-year lifetime and offers a complete range of consultancy services over eight lots.

EN:Procure Director of Operations Emma Mottram commented: “Following a detailed and challenging test of so many tenderers’ capacity, competency and efficiency we are delighted to have achieved such a diverse offer in the Framework, with a mix of larger national practices as well as smaller local businesses. We are very much looking forward to working with them to find solutions that meet the needs of our members and their communities in the current challenging economic climate.”

The EN:Procure framework will provide a full range of leading edge, cost effective, easily accessible consultancy services for Efficiency North’s membership and customers in the social housing and wider public sector in Northern England. Designed predominantly for social housing, it can also be applied to other public buildings or premises owned and/or managed by public sector organisations, including, but not limited to, schools, universities, infrastructure sites and offices.

BSP director Clive Roddick is the director on the Yorkshire and Humber lot of the EN:Procure framework, with associate director Matt Viggars acting as manager. BSP director of structures Carl Hilton will be the director for the East Midlands lot of the EN:Procure framework, with associate director Tony Goddard acting as manager.

BSP Consulting, which has its head office in Nottingham and branches in Derby, Leicester and Sheffield, was founded in 1999 and is one of the largest independent civil and structural engineering firms in the East Midlands, providing a comprehensive range of consultancy services in civil, structural, geotechnical, transportation and environmental engineering to all sectors of the construction community, from architects, project managers and contractors to developers and estate agents.
