MHR Multi-Storey Car Park Nottingham

A new £4.5 million multi-storey car park being built over four floors at MHR’s base at Ruddington Fields Business Park, near Nottingham. The facility is being created on the site of the company’s existing ground-level car park and will have space for an extra 190 cars on the site. It will have a solar panel roof which will power internal lighting and charging points for electric vehicles.

It is the second project involving BSP at the site – the company was civil and structural engineer on MHR’s new build Wellington House and is currently involved in the renovation and refurbishment of MHR’s Britannia House.

The company, which counts DFS and Nottingham Trent University among its clients, wants to fill up to 30 roles in areas including sales, marketing and finance in a move that will boost its total workforce to 700.

MHR, which is based at Ruddington Fields Business Park, provides HR and payroll software and is responsible for processing more than 2.3 million peoples’s pay in the UK. It has secured 66 new UK customers so far this year.

Other roles it will look to recruit into include project management, market research, software development and product planning. MHR says the car park will be based on the appearance of an office, rather than a traditional multi-storey car park.

MHR’s new multi-storey car park has been shortlisted in the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) category at the Constructing Excellence Midlands Awards 2022!
