Lawley District Centre is a perfect example of what we do bestRichard Croft,
HDD
Due diligence works were undertaken as part of the land purchase agreement with a housing consortium, IDG. Liaison with multiple housing sites, teams and contractors surrounding the commercial infill plots and local centre was also required with main infrastructure constructed by others to our client’s requirements. Plot D residential development was CfSH level 4 and BREEAM (multi-residential) Very Good.
Structural solution consisted of steel frame with load bearing masonry above. Ground improvement of the Clay soils and formation of stone column piles aided in the value engineering of the foundation design. Overall earthworks and drainage strategies were agreed with IDG and also took a holistic approach to the multiple Local centre and commercial parcels. SuDS systems were provided on a regional scale and including improvement works to the M56.
