East Bridgford Garden Centre
A new-build addition to the popular East Bridgford Garden & Home Centre. BSP provided infrastructure design for planning purposes, as well as the design for the junction at the entrance, at the Nottinghamshire site by the A46 when it was redeveloped prior to re-opening in 2018.
The site is now the flagship garden and home centre for Blue Diamond, and has over 81,000 sq ft of undercover shopping, as well as two restaurants.
Now the remaining existing buildings on the site have been demolished and are being replaced with new buildings for retail alongside the flagship centre.
BSP Consulting engineers provided a highways statement and drainage strategy for the planning application and have undertaken detailed designs for the most recent work.
