BSP Consulting provided pre-planning support for the re-development plans, which included an 80-bed hotel, pub and outdoor activity centre. The proposed development work was granted planning permission in August 2012 by Amber Valley District Council.
Denby Pottery says the development, which includes a garden centre, will bring 600 new jobs to the area.
