The Grade II listed buildings that once made up the site of Sheffield Boys School have been converted and refurbished to create one of the city’s premier destinations featuring a boutique hotel, bars, restaurants and a number of apartments.
Sited around an elegant, small, European-inspired square, the transformation of the former educational buildings involved a number of challenging structural engineering designs, successfully completed by BSP Consulting.
The scheme took the People’s Award at the Sheffield Design Awards 2010… proving how popular it has been with those who live and work in Sheffield.
