Dallington Grange near Kings Heath, will form 3,400 homes, which is a long-term development being devised by Persimmon Homes and David Wilson Homes.
Part of the scheme will provide, 100 houses that are much needed new social homes,they will be Northampton’s biggest social housing build for 30 years. Partly funded by the Local Growth Deal.
BSP Consulting are providing civil engineering consultancy services.
Works include on-going S278 works for 6 separate junctions including a new roundabout on Mill Lane to replace the current 4 arm cross roads.
We have also been instructed on the Mill Lane Link road on to the site – S38 works. 1500m of new highway onto the development form the new Mill lane roundabout.
Key Challenges & Solutions
Working with two different clients to design 5000 m of S38 public highway including 3 roundabouts and 2 signalised junctions connecting to the North West relief road being proposed by Northampton County Council.
To meet the timescales set out by the local growth deal. Incorporating design requirements of the SuDS approving body.
Working adjacent to a Middle Aged and Roman Archaeological site.
