Expertise Transport Planning Travel Plans
Jo is an Associate Director at BSP and plays an important role in managing and marketing the Transport department across all offices.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) with 20+ years’ experience in highways and transportation. Her focus is on Transport Planning and preparing access strategies, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans to support planning applications, alongside knowledge in preliminary highway design, Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) and road safety. She also has experience in public consultation and expert witness work.
Her knowledge and experience span a broad range of sectors including residential, commercial, education and leisure developments, as well as active travel, highway, and public realm improvement schemes.
She enjoys visiting and exploring new places in the UK and abroad. She is always keen to try to fit in a more active lifestyle, including walking, cycling, watersports and skiing, alongside spending time with family. Although she hung up her rugby boots some time ago, she still enjoys being a spectator, especially at Tigers or Twickenham.
