Engineers from BSP Consulting have been involved in the engineering aspects of a new mini retail park on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford.
The scheme on the site of the former Sandicliffe Motor Group showroom involves refurbishing the existing building to create six ground floor units and one first floor unit, along with new car parking spaces.
Tenants could include a food store, gym operator, fish restaurant, sandwich bar and veterinary clinic, once the scheme has been completed.
BSP’s role featured pre-planning work, including flood risk assessment, drainage strategy, site investigation, transport assessment and travel plan. In addition, investigatory works were undertaken on the existing structure at planning stage.
