BSP is the civil and structural engineer on a new Nottinghamshire housing development for emh.
The scheme at Annesley Road, Hucknall, will create 56 new homes for rent or shared ownership.
Lindum Group is the contractor for the scheme, which is due to be completed in 2022.
Other members of the team include Landmark Planning and architects Brooklyn Ellis.
The housing development features a mix of two, three and four-bed homes, plus two bungalows and four one-bed apartments.
BSP principal civil engineer Tim Wilson said: “BSP Consulting is proud to be involved in this new Nottinghamshire housing development which will provide much-needed homes in the Hucknall area.
“We have worked with emh and the Lindum Group on a number of schemes. This site is progressing well and is due for completion in the first half of 2022.
“BSP has wide-ranging expertise in the residential sector, working on housing estates across the East Midlands and beyond, providing civil and structural engineering services.”
Flood risk assessment
BSP’s role in the development included a range of civil and structural engineering services, including flood risk assessment and drainage strategy, and environmental noise assessment.
The housing estate in Hucknall is being built behind the local ambulance station and will provide social housing for the area.
In all, 31 two-bed houses, 17 three-bed houses, two four-bed houses, two two-bed bungalows and four one-bed apartments are being built. It has received Homes England funding.
Emh provides a range of services, such as housing and care and support, and has recently started operating under the single name of emh.
It is one of the largest providers of affordable homes and care and support services in the East Midlands, with more than 20,000 properties in over 40 local authority areas in the region.
The group invests in building around 550 properties every year, using local contractors and suppliers wherever possible.
