BSP has been contracted as part of the team that’s refurbishing Telecom Towers next to Platform 1 at Derby Railway Station.
The building will accommodate Network Rail’s Infrastructure Projects team, who are overseeing the electrification of the Midland Mainline.
BSP is working with Miller Construction as main contractor on the scheme, which involves refurbishing Telecom Towers to a specification that is consistent with Network Rail standards for office accommodation by optimising the space in the building to allow for agile and collaborative work patterns.
The scheme also includes designing an internal link from John Ellis House to Telecom Towers.
“BSP is very pleased to be involved in another rail project, which is a key part of Network Rail’s development in Derby,” said BSP director Carl Hilton.
Work began on site in May.
