Heatons and BSP have joined together to co-sponsor a Twenty20 Vitality Blast match at Derbyshire County Cricket Club in June.
The event will see the Derbyshire Falcons battle it out against the Northamptonshire Steelbacks on 14th June at the Incora County Ground. The match is set to be a fast paced and high-octane event with lots of exhilarating moments.
Spencer Warren, Managing Director at Heatons has a passion for cricket and said: “As partners of the 1870 Business Club we are excited to be sponsoring this fixture along with BSP as part of the 2024 Vitality Blast season.”
“The facilities at Derbyshire County Cricket Club are excellent and this is a great way for us to spend a fun evening with clients and share this experience with our friends at BSP. Last year we were honoured to sponsor the T20 match against local rivals, Leicestershire. A great memory and this year we look forward to sharing this experience with friends and clients.”
T20 is a game where anything can happen, with world-class talent on the field, along with a who’s who of county cricket’s top performers, and there’s always the potential for a roller-coaster of entertainment.
Six new players joined the Derbyshire squad ahead of the 2024 season, with T20 powerhouses Mohammad Amir, Samit Patel, Pat Brown and Ross Whiteley among those aiming to fire the Falcons to glory.
Carrie Booth, Business Development Manager at BSP added, “We always enjoy working with Heatons and this will be a great evening for us to share with the team and our mutual contacts. It is the perfect way to collaborate and celebrate at what promises to be a very exciting game.”
“After opening our Derby office in 2009, we have enjoyed many events at the Incora County Ground and we are very proud that the Falcons always put on such a great show.”
Mickey Arthur’s side already boast the likes of Wayne Madsen, who last year equalled the world record for consecutive T20 scores of 50 or more, and Zak Chappell, who was among the leading wicket-takers in last season’s Vitality Blast, as they target a return to the knockout stages.
