BSP was delighted to scoop an accolade at this year’s Nottingham Post Business Awards.
The company beat off strong competition from Hillarys Blinds and Trent Bridge to take the Nottinghamshire Sales and Marketing Award.
The judges praised the way that BSP had re-shaped its strategy during tough times for the construction industry and had developed a marketing push to widen its customer base, which left the business well-placed to make the most of the upturn in the economy.
“We were thrilled to win the award, at what is one of the region’s most high profile awards ceremonies,” said BSP business development director Jef Todd. “We were up against really tough competition in the form of Trent Bridge, who had staged the Ashes, and Hillarys Blinds, who had undergone a rebrand. Both had cracking sales and marketing strategies, with results to match. Congratulations to them and to all the winners and finalists. The evening was a great showcase for the enterprise and spirit that’s among the business community in Nottinghamshire.”
The event took place at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham.
