Build for the Future
BSP joined other representatives from the construction sector for a Build for the Future event for Lincoln College students, hosted by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.
BSP’s MD Carl Hilton was one of a number of industry experts who gave the youngsters an insight into the world of work – helping to prepare them for their careers after graduation.
Build for the Future: East Midlands, run by the chamber in conjunction with Heritage Lincolnshire and Archaeological Project Services, will be back next year on 17th May at Lincolnshire Showground.
Match fit
BSP has sponsored the shirts of the recently formed Ruddington Colts under eights football team. It’s the team of Leo Ellison, seven-year-old son of BSP associate Gareth Ellison.
BSP also donated two pop-up goals for the team.
The new shirts helped them get off to a flying start, with young Leo, who is pictured holding the ball, bagging 15 goals in his first four pre-season friendly matches. In a recent league match, he helped his team to win 8-1, with Leo scoring three of the goals and earning the man of the match title.
Gareth, who works in our Nottingham office, said: “The team is really grateful for the support of BSP.
Without help, the Ruddington Colts under eights wouldn’t have been able to get off the ground. The team haven’t been together long but they’re improving all the time and it’s great to see them enjoying themselves.”
ILM results
Well done to associate civil engineer Steve Hardman and principal civil engineer Craig Noonan who gained distinctions in their Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management governed by ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management).
Both work in the civils team in BSP’s Nottingham office.

The meal was held at Australasia and was hosted by Carl Hilton and Carrie Booth from BSP and Mark Jermy from HLP.
