Social events

We’ve enjoyed organising and taking part in a few outdoor social events now that restrictions have been eased, including cycling the 20-mile Ancient Sherwood Route, starting from Sherwood Forest, and a simulated clay pigeon shoot at Bisbrooke Hall near Oakham, which we held jointly with Edge.

Sustainability course

Congratulations to BSP’s business development manager Carrie Booth who has completed the Sustainability and Inclusion Leadership (SAIL) course. The course explores the global climate crisis, the very real impact this will have on economic landscape and how important it is for businesses to be more sustainable as they work towards Covid-19 recovery.

Mock interviews

BSP was delighted to join a number of other businesses to take part in mock interviews for students at both Keyham Lodge School and Beaumont Leys School in Leicester. Held remotely and online, these provided valuable experiences for pupils at both schools. Business development manager Carrie Booth represented BSP.

Work experience

Student Archie Heaney recently undertook structural engineering work experience at BSP Consulting. Archie, who has just completed his A-Levels at Ratcliffe College, is planning to study for a BEng Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol from September.
