East Midlands Expo

It was super to catch up with so many clients, associates and friends at the annual East Midlands Expo held in November at the East Midlands Conference Centre at the University of Nottingham’s Beeston campus. Thanks to everyone who dropped by our stand for a chat.

Chesterfield Investment Summit

As a Chesterfield Champion, we were delighted to attend the Chesterfield Investment Summit in November which gave valuable updates on Levelling Up funding and Town Deal regional projects, the Town Centre Station Masterplan, Staveley Growth corridor opportunities, East Midlands Investment Zone, Markham Vale updates and Peak Gateway plans to name a few.

Business leaders outlined details on how Chesterfield’s collaborative approach towards regeneration is creating a perfect environment for business growth.

Speakers shared a wealth of information with delegates at the event, which was held at Casa Hotel, organised by Destination Chesterfield and supported by Markham Vale, We Are Spaces and East Midlands Chamber of Commerce.

BSP gets quizzical

Team BSP took part in a couple of fundraising quizzes recently. Representatives from the Nottingham office joined the Turner & Townsend fundraiser quiz held at Revolución De Cuba in Nottingham, helping participants to raise a whopping amount of cash for great causes.

Meanwhile a team from the Leicester office took part in the Gateley RJA Charity Quiz Night held at Kibworth Cricket Club which raised just over £2,000 for the British Heart Foundation.  We were delighted to be involved in both of these events for charity.

ProCon Leicestershire

We were pleased to share a table with Henry Riley and entertain guests at the 21^st ProCon Leicestershire Awards, held in November at the King Power Stadium. The awards are the county’s largest celebration of the built environment and the people who develop, design and construct winning developments.
