Work is underway on site at a warehouse extension scheme in Derbyshire which BSP has designed using Building Information Modelling (BIM).
The 1,355m² extension is being built for TenCate, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced composite materials, at its Langley Mill site.
BSP, the civil and structural engineer for the scheme, has designed the project using our structural analysis software CSC Fastrak Building Designer, with the structural detailing in Revit.
Other members of the team are Benchmark Properties, Pure Construction and Staniforth Architects.
BSP has used Revit on numerous projects across the East Midlands and the UK, having set the adoption of BIM as an essential goal within its business and invested in Autodesk’s Revit software in 2011.
