BSP Consulting is delighted with the news that a luxury hotel development that the company worked on has been shortlisted in the RICS Awards East Midlands 2019.
St Martins Lodge, Leicester, has been named a finalist in the Tourism and Leisure category of the awards, which celebrate the most inspirational projects and achievements of property professionals in the region.
BSP’s Leicester team was appointed by the Leicester Diocese as the structural and civil engineer for the scheme in the Grade II listed Georgian building opposite Leicester Cathedral. It involved significant renovations of former offices.
The hotel now offers 28 double and twin rooms, including a top floor junior suite.
In addition, BSP was also the client engineer for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service for a new fire station in Newark which has been shortlisted in the RICS Awards East Midlands 2019 in the Community Benefit category.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Leicester on 15th May, with regional winners then going on to the national RICS Awards 2019 grand final in November.
