BSP Consulting is proud to have been involved in a scheme which took honours at the fbe East Midlands awards.
Derby grade A office development One Friar Gate Square was crowned the overall regional winner, after earlier taking the top slot for Derbyshire.
Meanwhile, Brierley Medical Centre, Huthwaite, was also short listed in the awards in the Nottinghamshire category.
BSP was engineer on both schemes.
“Congratulations to the teams involved in these developments and the others around the region that won awards,” said BSP business development director Jef Todd.
Other members of the One Friar Gate Square team were developer Lowbridge (Derby) Ltd, contractor Clegg Construction and architect Carey Jones Architects. The Brierley Medical Centre team also featured developer LSP Developments Ltd, contractor Wildgoose Construction Ltd, client Brierley Medical Centre, architect Marchini Curran Associates, services engineer and BREEAM Consultant ChapmanBDSP, landscape architect DSA Environment + Design Ltd, and cost consultants Carl Dean Associates Ltd.
The awards were presented at the third annual fbe East Midlands Awards evening, staged at the City Rooms, Leicester, and celebrated the best construction projects across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
