Work is due to be completed shortly on a scheme to build 44 affordable homes in Colwick, Nottingham.
BSP Consulting is the civil and structural engineer for the housing development at Vale Road.
The scheme is being delivered for Longhurst Group by GEDA Construction, with RG Partnership the architect for the project.
It is the latest in a number of projects that BSP Consulting has been involved in for Longhurst Group. BSP has also previously partnered with GEDA Construction.
Associate structural engineer Gareth Ellison said: “BSP is very pleased to be a part of the team that is delivering these 44 affordable homes in Colwick. It’s been a challenging, tight site and we’re delighted with the resulting attractive housing development that is being created.
“BSP Consulting has wide experience of working on affordable housing schemes – helping to provide much-needed homes for families and individuals.”
Affordable housing
Comprising one, two and three bedroom properties, with 23 of the homes available for shared ownership and the rest as affordable rent, the scheme is being built on a brownfield site and is due to be handed over soon.
