BSP was part of the team that delivered new affordable homes in Coalville, Leicestershire, for housing provider Midland Heart.
The 77 homes in Wolsey Road are part of a wider regeneration scheme in the town.
Featuring a range of two and three-bed houses and bungalows, the development was built by GEDA and handed over at the end of 2024.
BSP Consulting provided civil and structural engineering services for the housing scheme, which has been developed on a brownfield site.
Remediation, ground improvement techniques and attenuation were all part of the designs developed by BSP Consulting engineers.
BSP also worked in conjunction with Severn Trent Water to remedy a compromised surface water sewer outfall and arrange suitable diversion to remediate Severn Trent Water’s asset and enable a drainage strategy for the development.
Other members of the team included Waldeck and architects rg+p, working for GEDA.
