Romorantin Place Refurbishment Nottingham

Erewash Borough Council gave the go-ahead for the refurbishment of the block of flats in 2017, Works included the renewal of kitchens, bathrooms, electrics and the overhaul of grounds and gardens.

The site had been decommissioned and boarded up for several years, Romorantin Place, was a derelict four-storey block of 29 bedsits in Long Eaton, it has been given a complete overhaul, refurbished by East Midlands Housing Group for the enjoyment of its tenants.

The team which included Ridge & Partners as project managers, have turned the bedsits into 16 new two-storey family homes.

BSP’s work has included the initial phase 1&2 site investigation and flood risk assessment, along with structural refurbishment and remodelling of the existing buildings to form town houses.

Romarantin Place won project of the year, under £3m at the EEM Ltd Building Communities Awards 2020.
This award celebrates professionalism, excellence and innovation within both the housing and construction community.
